The animal specimens are categorized into rare terrestrial animals and marine animals; in terms of the production techniques, there are animal furrieries and stuffed specimens. CAM has collected 337 pieces of rare animal furrieries, some being rare and endangered, such as furrieries of panda, golden monkey, Siberian Tigers, South China Tigers, otters, Tan Sheep, and minks. Some other specimens by taxidermy are parts of the collections of CAM, as evidence of these animals’ previous existence, and also as objects of research in zoology, science education and entertainment.
