“Ancient Agriculture Reflected on Painted Pottery” is a themed exhibition with a display area of 300 square meters. From the ornamental designs on potteries, you can learn much about ancient agriculture: fishing, hunting and gathering, farming, and weaving; and nature worship. The exhibition displays more than 100 pieces of rare and precious objects. These include pots with seed-sowing patterns; jugs with designs of sunflowers and fishing nets; basins and drums with dancing patterns, all here to offer you an amazing experience of ancient agriculture.
When you set your eyes upon the dazzling painted potteries here, their unusual shapes, beautiful patterns, mysterious symbols and ingenious conceptions, inspire your imagination immediately. The nimbus on potteries from over 5,000 years ago cannot fail to amaze you. From these delicate potteries, you can feel ancient people’s enthusiasm for art, and their love of life. They pursued perfection and exquisiteness in simplicity, and enjoyed primitive art at their leisure. Painted potteries were not only their daily utensils, but they also reflect their style of fashions.
